Map Coordinates 5.8.4

The Map Coordinates app provides a wide range of tools for easily determining and sharing coordinates and addresses on a map. With just a tap, users can access world coordinates and utilize features such as distance measurement, GPS location, history/favorite locations, location sharing, and coordinate/address copying. This versatile app supports various coordinate types including decimal degrees, DMS (degrees, minutes, seconds), what3words, MGRS, UTM, and GEOREF.

When searching for a location, users can either enter the address or coordinates in the search field or input each coordinate individually using the advanced search options. The app's search function accommodates all coordinate types, except what3words, MGRS, UTM, and GEOREF can only be searched using the single search field.

To ensure the most accurate GPS location, it is recommended to use the app outdoors where the GPS satellites are easily detected without interference. However, indoor locations can be accurately pinpointed through a WiFi network if the device is connected to one.

The side drawer menu serves as a navigation tool for accessing different sections of the app such as History/Favorites and for switching between map providers. Currently, Google Maps and Open Street Maps are available as map providers, each offering different map types. Open Street Maps also includes a compass feature.

App settings can be adjusted in the side navigation drawer. Users can switch between existing coordinate types, control the visibility of the address bar, and enable additional tools such as Distance Measure and Elevation. The Elevation tool displays the altitude of selected locations on the map.

Notes:
1. The app supports GPX and KML file types with certain limitations: GPX files only process simple waypoints, while KML files process only Placemarks.
2. UTM, MGRS, and GEOREF coordinate types are available as paid options.
